Education
After graduating from the United States Military Academy, I earned advanced degrees at Boston University, Georgia Tech, and the University of Southern California.

Military Career
As an Army officer, I led armor and cavalry units, managed a computer center, taught at the Military Academy, and co-directed an institute for research in information systems.
Civilian Career
As a professor and business co-founder, I helped develop a supply chain management system used in industry and U.S. military operations in two wars.

Writing & Awards
My memoir, Galvanized, won the 2024 Page Turner Award and was a finalist for the 2025 Phoenix Award. My poetry has earned multiple Writer’s Digest Honorable Mentions.
Personal Life
I live in Clemson, SC with my wife and three cats. I counsel disabled veterans needing VA support.
